I knew that I liked Be Delicious, the other perfume from Donna Karan and asked my sister to give it to me for Christmas. She insisted that I should try Red Delicious and she bought me a gift set with both perfumes. I tried the Red Delicious, afraid that I wouldn't like it. I was pleasantly surprised. I am very picky about perfumes and I can't stand musky or powdery-smelling perfumes. This perfume, when I wear it, doesn't really smell fruity to me. It does smell a little bit like apple when you first spray it, but then the smell immediately gets more complex. It's an unusual smell with a little bit of spice and a little bit of a soapy, clean smell. This perfume lasts several hours on my skin, but the results will very depending on each individual's body chemistry. This scent is definitely more seductive and alluring than Be Delicious, which is more of a light, fun scent. My husband even likes this perfume, which is a miracle in itself. He is even more picky than I am about scents...
