Review : Not what I remember it to be...
I just received my Joy in the mail today. Packaging was excellent - the fragrance however is not quit what I remember it to be 40 years ago. I won't return it... maybe it's my bodies Pheromones today... Perhaps another application after a hot show at home tonight will make me re-think this fragrance. THIS JOY reminds me of a Drugstore Classic: **CHARLIE** I know that sounds ridiculous but it does. I am not fully convinced that this is the Real Thing. Just might be a Real Joy Bottle that was rejected off of the assembly line in the Quality Control Phase and obviously this would not be thrown out. Maybe that is why the price for 2.5 ounces is so low. I might give Macy's Department store a call and see if their bottle's label is the same as mine.. You'd think that a Perfume as high caliber as JOY would have some detectible labeling on the bottle.
